Editing and Revising (the misery and the discovery!)
Editing and revising are among the hardest parts of being an author - and two of the major stumbling blocks for aspiring writers.
I'm honored to included in the Irmo Branch Library's series for new writers, where I'll be discussing my experience, tips, and techniques for editing and revising written works.

A DEFIANT TEEN. A DEADLY CONFRONTATION. A STUNNING REVELATION. THE SPELLBINDING DELPHI TRILOGY HURTLES TO A GRIPPING CONCLUSION WITH THE DELPHI REVELATION, A THRILLER THAT KEEPS YOU ENTHRALLED TO THE END.
17-year-old Zach secretly returned to his wealthy hometown after ten years in hiding only to plunge into a grim reality and discover the true reasons his mother took him away and changed his identity: a secret Committee that controls the lives of everyone in town and the global League of Delphi with an ancient agenda of greed and teen exploitation.
In search of his family’s true past, Zach makes unexpected connections with other desperate souls. Ashley, his first love, is ensnared in the League’s deadly conspiracy. Larry, the town’s vengeful outcast, has turned out to be closer to Zach than he could have imagined. But trust comes with a price. Zach finds himself trapped and tortured by the League’s vicious security chief. He can stop the pain by accepting their twisted way of life. But the wrong decision will endanger thousands of lives—and drive those closest to him to disaster and death.
Help me kick off my most exciting year of writing yet!
I'm so thrilled to deliver the final book in The Delphi Trilogy. I love the story of Zach's battle to discover his identity against the brutal tactics of dark forces of his hometown. I also released other books recently that I'm excited to share with you.
I'll be at my "home bookstore" - Minneapolis' own Once Upon a Crime - to meet the Reading Rabble (the new name for readers of my books), read excerpts, talk books and stories, and sign any and every book you want me to.
Even more books will be available. Teens, kids, adults, pet monkeys - everyone is welcome.
Support this great local independent bookstore - AND teen reading. $1 for every book sold will be donated to Hennepin County Library teen reading programs.
Don't miss this event, Twin Cities Rabble!
Virginia Association of School Librarians
I'll be manning the Perma-Bound Books booth at the conference, meeting with school librarians and talking youth reading all days long.
I love these conferences. See you in Roanoke!
This is a closed event, and I'm excited to meet with the librarians of Pulaski County Schools in Virginia. I've already met several of these dedicated professionals and can't wait to hear what they have to say about their libraries and their readers.
Virginia is a great library state!
